“Thank You for Smoking” to move to the small screen. November 29, 2006

The independent hit film “Thank You for Smoking” will be made into a NBC sitcom.

The comedy series will focus on the same main character in the film (Nick Naylor, played by Aaron Eckhart).

The project is from the producer of the movie, David O. Sacks, and the pilot will be written and executive produced by Rick Cleveland (”Six Feet Under”).
