X-Men Spin-off: “Magneto” April 26, 2007

Fox Pictures have announced a spin-off for the the popular X-Men film franchise, focused around Magneto.
The 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios collaboration will be directed by David Goyer. Magneto is the second announced spin-off from the successful X-Men films, the other being Wolverine which will star Hugh Jackman. That film doesn’t yet have a director set.

MTV announced today that comedian, Sarah Silverman will be hosting this years edition of the MTV Movie Awards.

Fox takes out its competition, with a special two-hour charity themed event of American Idol. ABC’s Lost beats struggling CSI: NY for the first time in its new time slot.
