Last Saturday’s light heavyweight boxing fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Felix Trinidad at Madison Square Garden drew a surprisingly strong 500,000 pay-per-view buys.

“The Dark Knight” Site Goes White In Memorium of Heath Ledger January 25, 2008

Warner Bros. has taken down the entire site for the upcoming The Dark Knight and replaced it with a white background and a photo of Ledger.

Broadcast TV Ratings for Thursday, January 24, 2008 January 25, 2008

CBS and Fox split the evening with CBS taking the win among households and viewers, while Fox won the night among adults 18-49 thanks to a two-hour edition of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?.

Elsewhere on the evening, the first of two episodes of Chuck opened NBC at 8:00 p.m. with weaker ratings than its last newly aired episode (which occurred on a Monday), but the show did manage to show some growth by the second episode at 10:00.

Also on NBC, Celebrity Apprentice was again the nights most-watched program among adults 18-49, helping the network secure second place in the demo for the evening.

Special Enhanced Version of ABC’s “Lost” Season Three Finale to Air on January 30th January 25, 2008

ABC has announced that they will be airing a special enhanced version of the season three finale of Lost next Wednesday. The special, enhanced with on-screen text and story details about the show, will air from 9:00-11:00 p.m.
