Lowly viewed Friday results in split win for ABC, which was the nights most-watched network, and NBC, which had the most viewers in the key adults 18-49 demographic.

ABC finished in first place for the evening with a 4.0/7 household rating/share and 5.83 million viewers, but fell to third place among adults 18-49 with a 1.4/5 rating/share.

    • 1.3/4 A18-49 rating [#4]
  • 8:00 p.m.: Duel (4.4/8 HH rating/share, 6.70M viewers, 1.7/6 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 9:00 p.m.: That was followed by a repeat of Women’s Murder Club (3.9/7 HH rating/share, 5.76M viewers, 1.2/4 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 10:00 p.m.: 20/20 (3.6/7 HH rating/share, 5.02M viewers, 1.4/4 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Week-to-week numbers:
      • Households – 4.6/8 to 3.6/7
      • Viewers – 6.73M to 5.02M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.2/6 to 1.4/4

NBC followed in second place for the evening with a 3.8/7 household rating/share and 5.48 million viewers, but managed a first place finish among adults 18-49 with a 1.6/5 rating/share.

  • 10:00 p.m.: Another hour of Dateline (4.8/9 HH rating/share, 6.81M viewers, 2.0/6 A18-49 rating/share).

      • Households – 3.6/6
      • Viewers – 5.55M

CBS finished in third place for the evening with a 3.3/6 household rating/share and 4.78 million viewers, but fell to fifth place among adults 18-49 with a 1.0/3 rating/share.

  • 10:00 p.m.: And a repeat of Numb3rs (4.0/7 HH rating/share, 6.04M viewers, 1.3/4 A18-49 rating/share) ended the evening for CBS.

The CW followed in fourth place for the evening with a 2.9/5 household rating/share, was third among viewers with 5.03 million viewers and managed a second place finish among adults 18-49 with a 1.5/5 rating/share .

    • 4.79M viewers [#4]
    • 1.5/5 A18-49 rating [#3]
  • 8:00 p.m.: Friday Night Smackdown! (2.9/5 HH rating, 5.03M viewers, 1.5/5 A18-49 rating).

      • Households – 2.7/5 to 2.9/5
      • Viewers – 4.81M to 5.03M
      • Adults 18-49 – 1.5/5 to 1.5/5

FOX finished in fifth place for the evening with a 2.3/4 household rating/share and 3.63 million viewers, but was slightly better in fourth place among adults 18-49 with a 1.3/4 rating/share.

    • 3.79M viewers [#5]
    • 1.3/4 A18-49 rating [#5]
  • 8:00 p.m.: A repeat of Don’t Forget the Lyrics (2.9/5 HH rating/share, 4.62M viewers, 1.6/6 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 9:00 p.m.: The Next Great American Band (1.8/3 HH rating/share, 2.64M viewers, 1.0/3 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Week-to-week numbers:
      • Households – 1.8/3 to 1.8/3
      • Viewers – 2.98M to 2.64M
      • Adults 18-49 – 1.1/3 to 1.0/3
